Univariate Choropleth Maps

Source: http://www.colocarto.com/custom-thematic-maps.html

Univariate Choropleth maps are opposite of bivariate choropleth maps. These maps represent the data of a single research topic. The map I had chosen is representing the est. Median Household Income from 2008. The key has several shades of red, yet they all have a interval range, unlike the unclassed choropleth maps.
