Black and White aerial photography has many advantages as satellite based imaging. They have many advantages over photos taken without using satellite technology, allowing us to see images that were before unattainable. In this image, it is easy to see a river, streets, and buildings. If this were infrared we would be able to discover more information about perhaps the land itself, but this image gives us a better idea of what is actually there, as opposed to the condition it is in. This photos scale is 1:100,000.
